Music Ministry
One of the best things about St. Matthew's is its music ministry! St. Matthew's offers a
great variety of musical accompaniments during Sunday morning worship. Every week is
something new and beautiful, starting with our pipe organ and Chancel Choir. Guest musicians
bring everything from string quartets to saxophones, classical to contemporary, orchestra
to drums, and gospel to a-capella. We've even been known to feature a harmonica, or a saw!
Chancel Choir
Beautiful voices from
our own Chancel Choir add so much to the worship experience. They sing praises to God
during the 9:30 a.m. worship service every Sunday and perform special musical productions several
times throughout the year. Guest instrumentalists are often invited to perform
with the choir. Rehearsal is every Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Fulbright Bells
The bells add a special sound of praise at Sunday Worship
services and special events throughout the year. Rehearsals are held
every Thursday evening at 6:15 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
Junior Choir
A dynamic group of children in first through fifth grades shares the gift of
song at various services throughout the year. They practice Sunday evenings
starting at 5:00 p.m. All children who like to sing, snack and play are
welcome to come!
Gloryland Four (G4)
This lively Barbershop Quartet performs gospel songs and hymns at many of
St. Matthews Church services, as well as for various organizations'
meetings and parties in the area.
