St. Matthew's has a variety of programs and activities for men and women of all ages.

Young Adult Dinners

Couples with and without children meet monthly for dinner, games and informal Bible study in members' homes. All couples in their 20's and 30's are welcome.

Lydia Circle

The Lydia Circle focuses on Women-Church-God-Duty with an emphasis on missions. This group of women meets the second Thursday of each month at 12:00 noon in the Fellowship Hall.

United Methodist Men

The St. Matthew's United Methodist Men meet on the third Saturday of every month at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast, devotion, and program. They support church-related and community mission and outreach programs. The Donald McDavid Methodist Men Scholarship Fund is available to both church and community members.

Senior Adult Ministry...

• Young at Heart...
  This group of senior adults meets each Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. until noon in Room 104-5 for games etc.
• Senior Adult Fun Day...
  Offers an interesting day of games, educational programs, lunch and entertainment for senior adults. They meet the 4th Tuesday of every month in the Fellowship Hall.
• Traveling Seniors...
  This group enjoys monthly day trips to various interesting places around Houston and the State. They have lots of fun and welcome members of the community.

Loving Arms Committee

The Loving Arms committee furnishes a meal to members of the church who are not members of a Sunday School class when they have a death in the family. Sue Davis and Linda Rogers are co-chairs of this group.
